In celebration of Chinese New Year, February 5, Dior has unveiled a capsule collection of selected pieces revisiting its famous Toile de Jouy motif, one of the luxury fashion house's signature fabrics.

Dior joins a host of major fashion houses in celebrating Chinese New Year with its collection of chic and sophisticated accessories. But while many brands have chosen to honor the Year of the Pig in their designs, Dior has crafted a capsule rich in symbolism, with a poetic and feminine feel.

For this special collection, Dior creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri has reinterpreted the fashion house's Toile de Jouy fabric, blooming for the occasion with red hydrangeas. The choice is symbolic, evoking Christian Dior's love of the color, as well as his fascination with flowers.

Part of the Dior Cruise 2019 collection, this capsule notably features some of the label's iconic handbags, like the "Lady Dior" and the "Diorama," as well as scarves and sneakers.
