Based on the men’s Pre-Fall 2019 collection, the seven ensembles designed by menswear artistic director Kim Jones will feature modern and utilitarian sportswear silhouettes with a futuristic twist.

They will be worn by the seven members of the South Korean pop-band during their ‘Love Yourself: Speak Yourself’ stadium world tour, which kicks off in Los Angeles in May before visiting Chicago, New York, São Paulo, London, Paris, Osaka and Shizuoka.

The pop stars are a global sensation, selling over 10 million albums since their debut in 2013. The band also became the first-ever Korean act nominated for a Grammy, landed the top spot on the Billboard 200, and was named one of Time’s 100 most influential in 2019.

“I love BTS because they are really great guys and also super into fashion. Everyone I know is kind of crazy about them!”, said Kim Jones, artistic director of Dior Menswear.

Indeed, BTS is known for their eye-catching fashion, and like other K-pop stars, are considered major global fashion influencers.

According to global search platform Lyst, Moschino’s collaboration with K-pop singer CL sent searches for the brand soaring last year, catapulting sales for the label. Meanwhile, when BTS star Suga wore a shirt designed by Virgil Abloh, searches for the brand increased 120%.
