Djula is continuing to expand and now intends to consolidate its international presence by opening its own brand stores. The jeweler, which already has four locations in Paris, is going to focus its investment on the development of a fleet of international retail stores. It will start this summer in New York - its first store abroad.

Women’s campaign - Djula.

Djula has found a space at 922 Madison Avenue that it will launch in late July. The 323 square foot location, with its added visibility, demonstrates the jeweler’s desire to accelerate its growth in the US market.

But the Parisian fashion house, which remains independent and which was founded by Alexander Corrot in 1994, isn’t stopping there, having just signed its first franchise agreement. The franchise has been announced for 2016, in one of Macau’s major shopping enters.

Several other cities have been targeted by the jeweler for future medium-term openings, such as in London and Geneva, for example. While France remains Djula’s largest market, international sales currently account for 60% of its revenue, with a strong presence in Russia and the Middle East in particular. The brand is carried in sixty specialized and department stores.

Djula, which is soon going to move its Paris showroom from rue Saint-Honoré to set up shop in early summer on the holy of holies, Place Vendome, is experiencing a strong increase in sales. After 6 million in 2014, the jeweler hopes to reach eight million due to expansion in the US in particular.
