The men’s arm of French fashion’s governing body, the Chambre Syndicale de la Mode Masculine has welcomed British menswear brand Dunhill as its newest member.

This means that Dunhill, which has been showing during Men’s Fashion Week Paris since January 2018, will be part of the official fashion week calendar.

“I am proud of Dunhill to be invited to become a member of such an esteemed Federation - a testament to the evolution the House has undergone since our first runway in Paris two years ago. It is exciting to be joining the creative excellence that characterizes Paris Fashion Week,” said Mark Weston, creative director of Dunhill.

This season, the brand will put on an online show as part of the reinvented digital Paris Fashion Week Men’s, which is taking place from 9-13 July. The new format has been introduced in light of the Covid-19 pandemic and the advice to avoid public gatherings.

Founded in 1893 in London, Dunhill is one of the UK’s leading luxury brands for men, specialising in ready-to-wear, custom and bespoke menswear and leather goods. The brand is owned by Richemont and operates over 90 stores in 16 countries, including a luxury emporium in London’s Mayfair.
