Elie Saab continues its retail expansion, inaugurating a first flagship store in London. The eponymous Lebanese designer's fashion label, after opening two stores in Paris, has gained a foothold in the prestigious Mayfair district. As it was announced in December, the new store is located in an old, neoclassical listed building at 24 Bruton Street.

The building hosts all of Elie Saab's collections: on the ground floor, the wedding and ready-to-wear lines and the accessories (handbags, small leather goods, footwear, scarves and fragrances); on the first floor, the ready-to-wear evening and cocktail dress area, while the haute couture salon, accessible directly from the street with its own private entrance, is located on the second floor.

Architects studio RDAI have designed the interiors, creating a sophisticated atmosphere featuring a marble staircase, a sculpted wood fireplace, Empire-style furniture in walnut and bronze, gold-coloured brass chandeliers and mirror wall-panelling.

The opening of this flagship reinforces the growing presence of the brand in London, which is already present at Harrods with its boutique situated within the designated “Superbrands” space. With existing points of sale around the globe in Paris, the luxury label has further openings in view for 2017.
