Oberg announced her appointment on Twitter, quoting a news article confirming that her role will involve overseeing Kith’s women's wear section, working on developing products and aiding Kith founder Ronnie Fieg in executing the brand vision.

Fieg has been handling the creative for the women’s side of the brand since first Kith launched its womenswear section in December of 2015. Fieg will continue to oversee the brand as a whole.

Oberg, who boasts a sizable social following of over 211,000 on Instagram alone, spent three years working as a video content producer at Complex Magazine, leaving the publication in January. Her most notable work with Complex was the ‘Get Sweaty’ video series, where Oberg would interview celebrities like Steve Aoki, Austin Mahone, and Nick Jonas while leading a work-out.

Prior to Complex, the Canadian-born influencer headed her own lifestyle brand, called Sporty and Rich, whose merchandise included both limited-edition clothing collections and print publications.
