Escada is strengthening its team. While continuing to search for a successor to Bruno Sälzer, who will leave his post as CEO by the end of the year to take over Bench, the Munich label announced that it has hired Stephen Croncota as chief marketing officer.

It’s a newly created position officially created to manage public relations, e-commerce and licensing.

Alexandra Valtin, formerly in charge of media and e-commerce, recently left Escada for Porsche Design.

Concrota has a good deal of experience, in particular, with video games, media and more generally with entertainment.

Until now, he served as vice president of the California-based company GSN, a subsidiary of Sony specialized in video games. Having worked for about ten years in media (Condé Nast, Warner Bros ...), he joined Versace in 2003 as marketing director, responsible for developing accessories as well as the Italian label’s hotel concept Palazzo Versace.

In 2006 he crossed the Atlantic to join the brand Haggar brand and then Kendall-Jackson Wine Estates.

At Escada, the executive board currently has two members - Bruno Sälzer and Jörg Wahlers - in charge of finance and operations.
