Fear of God and New Era to launch MLB All-Star cap collection

Fear of God unveiled on Thursday a special capsule collection with New Era made to benefit the Jackie Robison Foundation and the MLB Playball Initiative.

The Fear of God x MLB All-Star Collection - MLB

Designer Jerry Lorenzo has very deep ties with Major League Baseball that goes beyond the collection. His father, Jerry Manuel, was a major league baseball player and minor league coach, a manager of the Chicago White Sox and New York Mets, a coach for the Montreal Expos and Mets and became World Series champion as coach of the Florida Marlins in 1997. Lorenzo and his family often moved around to be with Jerry, whether that was in West Palm Beach, Chicago or Montreal.

The Fear of God x MLB All-Star Collection honors not only Lorenzo’s father, but also MLB greats Ken Griffey Jr., Darryl Strawberry, and Dave Winfield, among others. Each cap in the collection features each player’s All-Star jersey number on the back, as well as a logo from the year each player was in the All-Star game.

In addition, Fear of God and New Era will launch a special 1997 Collection to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Florida Marlins’ championship season.

The limited edition capsule collection will retail for $200.
