Filippa K to boost international presence with new brand director, Karl-Johan Bogefors
Swedish fashion label Filippa K has completed a senior management reshuffle. After appointing Kristofer Tonström as CEO and putting founder Filippa Knutsson once again in charge of creativity, Filippa K has also added Karl-Johan Bogefors to the team as Brand Director.
Bogefors isn't an entirely new face at the company, since he worked for Filippa K between 1996 and 2007, notably taking charge of public relations and marketing and being involved in the launch of Filippa K Man. He then joined the London branch of H&M working for Cos, before becoming Marketing Director at Malene Birger, Creative Director at JC Jeans and Global editor in Chief at Absolut.com.
In his new role, Bogefors will be chiefly tasked with accelerating the brand's international deployment, and also boosting Filippa K's digital presence.
Swedish label Filippa K is based in Stockholm, and operates 50 directly owned stores, as well as being available at 650 multibrand stores.
