Filling Pieces has made the leap into womenswear. The Amsterdam-based footwear label from Guillaume Philibert this week launched its first-ever women’s footwear collection on its website.
The new women’s footwear line includes leather and suede sneaker silhouettes in pastel and muted shades as well as stripe, colorblock, floral, and camouflage patterns. Filling Pieces retained its signature design motifs like heel padding and the tongue for the women’s collection, but the new styles stand alone in design. Stand out pieces from the collection include the low top Caribo suede sneaker with fringe detail and High Avalanche suede and leather styles.
The sneaker label drew inspiration for the collection from powerful females in their lives. Despite its position as a unisex brand, Filling Pieces felt compelled as designers to produce a collection strictly for females. Prior to launching this collection, the brand released collaborations with Barneys New York, Bodega and United Arrows.
The Filling Pieces women’s collection ranges in price from $190 to $310.
