Footwear and accessories brand Baldinini, founded in 1910 in San Mauro Pascoli, central Italy, continues to grow internationally. The main focus is the USA, where in 2016 it opened stores in New Jersey and inside Miami's Brickell City Centre mall and the Roosevelt Field mall in Long Island, New York. The expansion drive will carry on in 2017, with another three store openings, whose locations have not yet been disclosed.

Besides the USA, the brand is also well established in Russia and eastern Europe, where it plans to expand further. As for Asia, Baldinini will be busy in China in 2017, and is set to bolster its network of four franchised stores already established in Beijing by opening more franchised stores in Shanghai.

In the Middle East, Baldinini will inaugurate a franchised store inside Dubai's Mall of the Emirates, and will also open a boutique within the Galeries Lafayette department store in Doha, Qatar. These new shops will add to the four already active in the area, one of them in Abu Dhabi.

Baldinini is keen to grow the business via an omni-channel model, with e-commerce a key driver, especially in those markets where the brand does not enjoy a retail presence.
