Fred Segal opens its 5th store in Marin County before opening a 6th in Santa Monica

In full expansion, the Fred Segal brand, acquired in 2018 by Jeff Lotman, within his company Global Icons, is multiplying store openings this year-end.

After the iconic West Hollywood store, and those in Malibu, Studio City and Las Vegas, Fred Segal opened its first boutique in Northern California on September 18.

Located in the Marin Country Mart in Marin County, north of San Francisco, a shopping center that already boasts some twenty stores including James Perse, The Great and TheRealReal, the new Fred Segal boutique presents its selection of fashion, beauty, accessories and lifestyle brands.

Another anticipated opening, is the one in Santa Monica. 7 years after the closure of a Fred Segal store at the corner of 5th Street and Broadway, Fred Segal is finally launching a new boutique in the area in October.

The year 2024 marks Fred Segal's expansion with the announcement of its first store openings in Europe. "Italy, Germany and the UK are the three countries that interest us and where the brand resonates the most," said Jeff Lotman in an interview with FashionNetwork.com last January.
