French cosmetic line Sisley opens first U.S. location

Sisley is about to open its first store in the United States. The French luxury cosmetics brand is opening a sumptuous 70-square-meter store in Las Vegas in mid-May at the Shops at Crystals shopping center.

Founded in 1976 by Hubert d'Ornano, Sisley is already distributed through some one hundred select retailers in the United States.

Sisley says that 85% of its sales come from exports to 90 countries, with Asia being a particularly strong market. The brand has a dozen stores located in Hong Kong, Macau, Taipei, three stores in China and is planning another three openings there in the near future.

The brand is available at a number of retailers in France but still has no store of its own in its home country.
