Eighteen months after the arrival of its new CEO, Patrik Nilsson, Gant has announced the appointment of four key players to join its global headquarters.

Brian Grevy is to join the retailer as Chief Marketing Officer in June, coming from the Adidas headquarters in Germany, where he was General Manager of the Training unit. Grevy will oversee Gant’s Product Creation and Marketing departments.

Former General Manager for Luxottica’s northern Europe unit, Patrik Söderström has been appointed to take over the role of Global Sales Director from May 2016. Both Söderström and Grevy will report directly to Gant’s CEO and will play a strong role in company’s global management team.

Gant will also have a new Creative Director, Matthew Wood, who currently holds the role of Business Unit Director for Gant sub-brands Diamond G and Rugger, as well as the position of Unit Director for the brand’s shirts division. Wood began his career in London’s Savile Row and joined Gant one year ago.

Meanwhile, Gunnar Hedendah will join Gant in April as Business Unit Director from premium Swedish brand, Oscar Jacobsson.

“With these four key players, we have taken a big step towards building a dream team. They all have impressive track records and are known as outstanding leaders. Together, with the already strong team at Gant, they will help us win the consumer and maximize our great potential,” said CEO Patrik Nilsson.

The label plans to become the world’s leading lifestyle brand by 2020. It is currently present in 70 markets and has 750 stores with 4,000 selected retailers.
