The exhibition will feature 35 pieces dating from the period 1910 – 1930, including an eyecatching 1927 vanity case that features Cartier's famous panther icon. The show will also display jewelry, which was on view at the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes, the famous world fair held in Paris in 1925.

Furthermore, ‘Art Deco – Paris’ is showing the work of notable French couturier and contributor to Art Deco, Paul Poiret. Additionally, visitors can see the work of his contemporaries, such as Picasso, Man Ray and the Ballets Russes. Work on display includes artworks on loan from The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and various collections from Paris, Berlin, Brussels and Monaco.

Gemeentemuseum Den Haag is a modern art museum housing more than 150,000 pieces of art. In addition to modern art, the museum focuses on prints, fashion and music.
