Germany’s Brax enters US market
German fashion label Brax is heading for the American market, and will collaborate with Nordstrom to make it happen. From Spring 2016, Brax’s collections will be available in 10 selected Nordstrom stores, as well as on the department store’s website, Nordstrom.com.
The plan is to distribute Brax for four seasons in stores on the West Coast, and in Nordstrom locations in Texas and Chicago. After that, the brand plans to continue to expand further into the US.
So far, the premium label, which started off as a specialist menswear store in Berlin in 1888, is only available in Canada and other European cities. It currently employs over 1,100 people and recorded sales of 317.5 million euros in 2014.
