Givaudan partners with India’s Synthite

On August 28 in Zurich, the Swiss group Givaudan, a world leader in perfumes, announced a partnership with the Indian company Synthite that will comprise of research and development for natural ingredients for perfumes.

The Swiss group said in a statement that the two businesses will work together to research the properties of floral ingredients and spices such as jasmine, tuberose, ginger, and cardamom.

Givaudan, which creates fragrances for the great names of the perfume industry, aims to further enrich its portfolio of ingredients.

“This partnership with Synthite is in response to the growing consumer demand for natural products,” explained Givaudan.

The groups intends to develop new scents with these ingredients widely used in perfumery.

Founded in 1972, the Indian group Synthite is a key supplier of botanical ingredients for perfumes as well as for aromas.
