Global Brands Group names Ron Ventricelli as global COO and president of North America, Mark Caldwell promoted to CFO
Global Brands Group Holding Limited (GBG) has named Ronald Ventricelli as its new global chief operating officer and president of North America, a newly created role at the company. The group has also named Mark Caldwell as its new chief financial officer.
In their new roles, both executives will report directly to Rick Darling, Global Brands Group's chief executive officer.
Ventricelli brings over 25 years of senior leadership experience to his new position, having most recently served as GBG's chief financial officer. He also worked at LF USA, the company's predecessor. Before joining the company, he served as chief financial officer at Frederick Atkins and Adrienne Vittadini, and also worked in public accounting at KPMG. He is a member of the Board of Governors of the YMA Fashion Scholarship Fund.
Caldwell first joined GBG through LF USA, serving as its vice president of finance in 2010. Later, he went on to be promoted to senior vice president and corporate controller in 2012 and then to executive vice president of finance in 2014. Prior to joining the group, he spent 13 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Both appointments were made as part of the group's "new vision for long-term strategic growth," according to a press release.
These updates within the company's executive team follow the appointment of Rick Darling as GBG's new CEO in October.
