Gocco strengthens expansion team with senior hire

Spanish childrenswear brand Gocco has appointed Guillermo Calvo as its new director of global expansion. In this role, Calvo will be responsible for the the domestic and international development of the brand.

Guillermo Calvo worked most recently for women's footwear brand Marypaz and retail giant Inditex, where he held several senior expansion roles.

The appointment follows the announcement that Felix de Iturriaga would join the business this summer as new managing director.

Launched in Madrid in 2000, Gocco is a Spanish childrenswear brand for kids aged 0-14 years old. It currently has a presence in 19 countries across Europe, America and the Middle East.

The company launched its first accessories collection in spring this year.

Diana Capital is the company’s majority shareholder with a 40% interest.
