Good American, the “inclusive” fashion brand co-founded by Khloé Kardashian and Emma Grede, has unveiled the finalists from its open casting that sought “real women” to star in its latest campaign.

They’ll be joining the “famous #GoodSquad — a group of women who represent the brand's values, paving the way in making the fashion industry more inclusive,” it said.

The castings were held in London, New York, Atlanta and Los Angeles, with zoom castings allowing for global entries.

The winners include Rimshah Asghar, an NHS associate practitioner and model from Manchester; Tanisha Link, a paralegal and model from London; Ketara Narcisse from South Florida; Lauren Cannon from San Francisco; Carly Childers from Kentucky; Amanda Diaz Rojas from New York; and Ayanna Nelson from Los Angeles.

Kardashian and Grede are holding a screening to announce the latest additions to #goodsquad in LA, joined by a panel “including a selection of talent and industry leaders”.

The company said its open casting approach is its way of finding “women who embody the brand's values of self confidence, self-love, and female empowerment”. And it “ensures that the group of women featured in their campaigns are representative of real bodies, embracing a range of shapes, sizes and cultural backgrounds”.

Good American has been running its open castings for some time and they’ve been attracting a larger number of women each year. The latest one in 2022 was claimed to be “the most inclusive casting in the world” and meant over 100,000 submissions to date since creation. 2022 alone saw 40,000 applicants.

The brand, founded in 2016, is available in variety of retailers, including Selfridges, Browns, Harrods and Flannels.
