Fall is set to bring a contemporary and audacious flavor to H&M, which has joined forces with South African designer, Palesa Mokubung on a ready-to-wear clothing and accessories collection. The creations are due out globally from August 15.

Vibrant colors, fabrics and prints -- and designs that are as avant-garde as they are audacious -- comprise the signature style of the Mantsho label, founded by the designer, Palesa Mokubung in 2004. The brand, which has graced runways in India, the US, Senegal and Botswana, has now joined forces with Swedish clothing giant H&M on a collection of women's clothing and accessories.

For the time being, H&M isn't giving much away about the designs featuring in this upcoming collection. However, three first images show a top with flared three-quarter sleeves and a contemporary cutout, as well as a second short-sleeved top featuring frills and a bow. Both are finished in an original blue-and-white floral print.

"Palesa is such an inspiring talent and personality. We love how she works with color, print and silhouettes enhancing the female shape in a flattering and playful way. At H&M, we value diversity of ideas and designs and draw inspiration from across our geographical footprint and we are so excited to share this collection with our customers across the globe," said Pernilla Wohlfahrt, assortment manager for collaborations and special collections at H&M.

The collection will launch globally in selected stores and online at www.hm.com from August 15.
