Hailey Bieber launches beauty brand Rhode
Model Hailey Bieber introduced on Wednesday her own minimalist skincare label joining the ranks of celebrity beauty brands.
Dubbed 'Rhode', inspired by the model's middle name, the line launches with three products available direct-to-consumer via its own website, Rhodeskin.com, with prices ranging from $16 to $29. Described as “curated skincare essentials made with thoughtful intention,” the collection includes a serum, moisturizer and lip treatment in three scent options.
In particular, the inaugural product drop includes the Peptide Glazing Fluid, described as a lightweight, quick-absorbing gel serum that plumps and hydrates to support a healthy skin barrier. Next, there’s the Barrier Restore Cream, a rich yet lightweight moisturizer that replenishes skin’s moisture with its antioxidant peptide complex.
Completing the collection is the Peptide Lip Treatment - a restoring lip treatment that leaves lips looking glossy, as well as protected and nourished. It’s available in three flavors including watermelon slice, salted caramel and fragrance-free.
“We spent years working on our formulas with our skin board of dermatologists and chemists to make sure that every rhode product restores, protects and nurtures your skin,” the company and Bieber said in a shared Instagram post.
“Our formulas only use high-performance ingredients at efficacious levels. Each one is purposeful, non-sensitizing, and chosen for its efficacy because a happy skin barrier is a glowy skin barrier.”
The brand has equally partnered with the Rhode Futures Foundation, which aims to invest in and support 1,000 women and their families by 2023.
