Hanro continues to extend its global retail presence. The premium mixed underwear and loungewear brand has opened several strategic stores in recent years across major capital cities, but has never bowed a store in its home country, Switzerland.

Founded in 1884, the historic Swiss house, which has since been acquired by Austria's Huber group, has now opened its first namesake store in its home country. Hanro has chosen the luxury ski stop-off, Gstaad, to open up shop early March at number 2 Güterstrasse, covering 80 square metres in the city centre.

With the first standalone Swiss store taking its time to open, the second Hanro store will open soon after in Zurich. It's a double-debut for the brand, which will also see Hanro land its first 'travel retail' store, right at the heart of the Zurich international airport. Covering 60 square metres, the airport shop will open March 30.

Beyond Switzerland, Hanro's dense retail development will also transcend into the United States. Already present in New York, Hanroi is coming to Los Angeles in June, taking the brand's store count to eleven.

Globally, Hanro is also available across 2,300 points of sale (multibrand retailers, concessions and shops) and continues to expand its department store presence.
