Happy Socks and Montana Cans launch limited-edition capsule

Published
Feb 27, 2018

Happy Socks and iconic spray paint brand Montana Cans have collaborated on a two-style unisex capsule designed to offer streetwear-inspired athletic socks that celebrate freedom of expression and creativity.

The collaboration launches in February - Happy Socks

The two styles of cotton Happy Socks in the collection pay homage to Montana Cans' graffiti heritage with colorful graphics of spray paint cans and dripping paint. Each pair of socks is sold in a metal canister designed in the shape of a spray can.

Montana Cans was founded in 1995 by a collective of street artists and built a reputation in the graffiti community based on quality-tested product as well as through its varied offer of spray paint options for street artists.

To shoot the capsule, Happy Socks travelled to Hamburg with The Grifters founder, graffiti writer Good Guy Boris. The goal of the photoshoot was to show how graffiti is a fast paced physical art form, and to draw a connection between wearing performance athletic socks and physically creating one's art.

The Happy Socks and Montana Cans collaboration launches February 27th. It is available online through Happy Socks's e-commerce site as well as at Happy Socks Concept shops and select retailers. The limited-edition socks retail for $16 a pair or $32 for a two-pair gift pack.
