Harrods is clearly impressed with the performance of its still-relatively-new H Beauty chain as it has now opened a third branch with a debut on Tuesday in the heart of Edinburgh, Scotland.

It's the first store for the chain to be found outside of southern England with an opening in the premium St James Quarter shopping district.

The company said it reflects Harrods’ “commitment to bringing its industry-leading expertise in creating luxury shopping experiences through its unique curation of brands, to new communities across the UK”.

The 21,000 sq ft store “embodies the future of beauty, providing an expansive space for customers to enjoy a diverse portfolio of exceptional services and must-have products from over 90 international beauty brands”, we’re told.

And like the first two H Beauty stores, it’s an "experiential playground where both beauty novices and experts can discover the industry’s most innovative brands in addition to finding their long-standing favourites”.

Each H Beauty branch has been “developed with the local community in mind and is designed to bring the most important and vibrant products, brands, and experiences to customers, often for the first time”.

Its local element means it will “support local talent and up and coming Scottish brands, whose values directly connect with Harrods own, with its ‘Born & Bred’ offering, featuring brands such as Vieve, Moo & Yoo, Kingdom Scotland and Lola’s Lashes”.

It’s also the first physical location in Edinburgh for shoppers to access Charlotte Tilbury, Keys Soulcare and Kora Organics. And there are prestige brands such as Chanel, Dior and Givenchy alongside cult-favourites that have previously only had a limited presence in Edinburgh, including Westman Atelier, Kylie Cosmetics, and Sunday Riley.

The first two H Beauty stores in Lakeside, Essex and centre:mk, Milton Keynes opened in September 2020 and April this year, respectively. In the next 12 months, two more locations will open, one in Bristol and another in Newcastle.
