Hat brand Larose collaborates with Frank & Oak

The Larose brand, created in 2012 by Marc Beaugé (Les Inrocks) and Quebecer Isaac Larose Farmer, was built around 5-panel caps. Its range recently expanded to include hats, and Larose has now signed up for an interesting partnership.

The label is already present in some forty stores worldwide, and is expected to multiply its retail outlets through the collaboration set up with Frank & Oak, a brand that is experiencing strong growth in Canada and North America.

Frank & Oak was launched in the same year as Larose, and developed into a concept store hybrid, usually combining a café, a barber shop and ready-to-wear apparel. The idea has taken root in 7 Canadian cities – Toronto, Montréal, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Ottawa and Halifax – and is present in the USA since 2015.

The brand launched a competition called 'Frank & Oak in my city' on social media, giving gift voucher-purchasers the opportunity to vote and decide where the brand's next retail outlets should open. As a result, Frank & Oak opened 3 pop-up stores - roughly between 12 and 18 months after the votes - in Boston, Washington DC and Chicago, and plans to open 3 more in the coming months.

The Larose - Frank & Oak limited edition capsule collection consists of two woollen caps (in the colours camel and black) and a series of fedoras with a side-zipper fastener, and is available since mid-November exclusively at www.frankandoak.com, as well as at the Montréal and Toronto stores.
