British luxury brand Hobbs has opened its first store in Hong Kong in partnership with Rue Madame Fashion Group after seeing strong interest from shoppers.

The 1,150-square-foot boutique is located at IFC Mall, in the city’s vibrant business and shopping district. It showcases the label’s workwear, occasion dresses and casualwear collections, as well as its range of footwear and accessories.
“We're thrilled to be opening our Hong Kong store in the prestigious IFC Shopping Centre. Based on online sales and the customers visiting our London stores from Hong Kong, we know there is a keen interest in Hobbs, so this will give them a much easier way to shop with us,” commented Meg Lustman, CEO of Hobbs.
The brand selected Rue Madame Fashion Group, which also operates the Hong Kong flagship stores of Whistles and Phase Eight, for this expansion.
“With our partners, Rue Madame Fashion Group, who are supporting this venture, we have an incredible opportunity to build a presence in this market,” Lustman continued.

In keeping with the brand’s aesthetic codes, the new boutique features elegant furnishings, a “refined” colour palette and decorative panelling. Styles are displayed in easy-to-shop collections to help customers build a capsule wardrobe.
Hobbs has also 190 stores in the U.K., U.S. and Europe, including 60 standalone sites in the U.K.
