Hoka One One and Opening Ceremony have teamed up for a capsule collection combining classic shoes from the Deckers-owned footwear brand with the New York-based fashion label’s signature streetwear style.

The collection features rereleases of three Hoka designs channeling Opening Ceremony’s unique aesthetic with minimalistic colorways and futuristic accents. Each design will be released separately in three drops spread over the next few months.

Launched on November 1, the Hoka x OC Bondi is an adaptation of Hoka’s Bondi 5 max-cushion road running shoe and is priced at $185. It includes a number of performance and comfort features, such as a full EVA midsole, an early stage Meta-Rocker and a moderate heel bevel, as well as flat-waisted geometry, a wide footbed and a leather comfort frame.

Set to release on December 5, the Hoka x OC Tor Ultra Hi ($260) aims to combine the comfort and traction of a trail running shoe with the support of a hiking boot. Its features include a triple-density midsole, an outsole with Vibram Megagrip, multidirectional lugs and a flexible collar for ankle support.

The shoe’s full-grain leather and textile upper means that it can be worn in both urban and rural environments, while an eVent waterproof bootie can be added in wet conditions.

The final shoe to launch in the collaboration is the Hoka x OC Clifton, which is priced at $150 and will be released on February 6, 2020. The lightweight trainer includes an EVA footbed, a neutral last and a classic leather upper.

“Opening Ceremony has staked out their place in the industry with head-turning designs and adherence to its principles of exploration and friendship around the globe,” said Hoka One One President Wendy Yang in a release. “We are thrilled to combine our perspectives with theirs for this exciting new collection.”

“Hoka is an innovative brand that marches to the beat of its own drum, balancing design and function in a distinctive way,” added Humberto Leon, co-founder of Opening Ceremony. “At Opening Ceremony, we have always prioritized individuality and bold design, so this partnership was a natural fit.”

Shoes from the Hoka x OC collection will be available on both brands’ e-commerce websites, as well as in Opening Ceremony stores and at select multibrand retailers.
