London’s popular Carnaby area has been given even more of a retail boost with the arrival of US teen fashion brand Hollister Co.

The Abercrombie & Fitch Co-owned brand has added to its nearby Regent Street flagship with the new store. It joins sister brand Gilly Hicks' nearby store on Carnaby Street, which opened last summer “to high acclaim”.

And the Hollister Co opening will “reflect the updated brand positioning, tailoring its experience to the brand's Gen-Z consumer in an authentic and relatable way through its refreshed assortment and aesthetic”.

Opening Friday (5 May) on Shaftesbury-owned Foubert’s Place, the retailer will offer its signature men’s and women’s apparel and accessories.

Under the banner ‘Hollister believes in celebrating teens – their firsts, their experiences and their memories, every day’, Hollister Co is hosting a major consumer launch event at the new store on 18 May.

Jonathan Steinitz, Managing Director EMEA, said: “This new location welcomes local London customers and tourists alike with a brightly coloured storefront and an inviting interior that brings the product assortment to life against a backdrop of cool blue and white tones with warm wood fixtures and textured walls.

“With an easy-to-shop layout, this store concept provides a seamless omnichannel experience with a central click-and-collect area in addition to offering order-in-store and same-day delivery capabilities.

He added: “As we head into the summer season, the store will feature wardrobe staples including dresses, linen, tailored looks and utility wear.”
