While Abercrombie & Fitch is set to welcome its new President, former product director of the Next group, Christos Angelides, the parent company has announced the appointment of Mr. Angelides' alter ego for Hollister.

The American group's most accessible brand passes into the hands of Fran Horowitz. A retail specialist, the 51 year-old leader notably spent 13 years with Bloomingdales, where she served and worked her way up in various merchandising roles.

Between 2005 and 2012, she served as Executive Vice President of Women's Merchandising and Design for American retailer Express, Inc. (600 retail outlets in North America).

Most recently she was President of Ann Taylor Loft, a casual clothing division of Ann Inc. specialised in women's ready-to-wear clothing.

Fran Horowitz will be in charge of products and relations between Hollister and its customers, but also for the brand's financial performances.

She will report to Mike Jeffries, CEO of the group. Like Christos Angelides, she will take up her functions on 20 October.

The Abercrombie & Fitch group has 836 stores in the United States and 161 in the rest of the world.
