HSN partners with Marlo Thomas and Naked Brands on exclusive collections
Multichannel entertainment retailer HSN on Thursday announced partnerships with Comfortably You, LLC and actress Marlo Thomas to launch an exclusive intimates lifestyle collection and an apparel and accessories collection, respectively. The Comfortably You and That Woman! collections will launch in January 2017.
The Comfortably You collection consists of affordable sleepwear, loungewear, and intimates that range in size from XS to XL and are priced under $60. Comfortably You CEO Carole Hochman and her Naked team produced eight sleepwear and casual styles for the collection including a robe set, night gown, t-shirt, bralette, yoga pants and jacket that feature soft feeling “caressa” fabric.

Hochman joined Naked Brands Group, the parent company of Comfortably You LLC, in 2014 as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Creative Officer, and Chairwoman. She stated that her goal is to grow Naked into a global brand. Comfortably You LLC produces modern and affordable sleep, loungewear and innerwear that provide an optimal fit, feel and function. Prior to joining Naked Brands Group, Hochman served as Chief Creative Officer of the Carole Hochman Group, which produced the Carole Hochman brand and licensed sleepwear collections for Christian Dior, Oscar de la Renta, Ralph Lauren, Jockey, Donna Karan, Tommy Bahama, and Betsey Johnson.

That Woman!, the first apparel and accessories collection from actress Marlo Thomas, is a sophisticated collection designed for women of all ages and offers pieces like the Heart Choker, Lace-Up Sweater, and Perforated Moto Jacket. The 15-piece collection features details such as keyholes, fringe, beading, pleating and perforation and color stories like hot pink and champagne.
Thomas’ collection shares its name with her hit television series “That Girl” where she played America’s first single working girl Ann Marie. The actress has placed more attention on her philanthropy throughout her career by helping to raise funds for St. Jude’s Research Hospital.

HSN in November reported weak third quarter results, which included a 5% decrease in net sales and a 41% decrease in net income and diluted earnings per share. CEO Mindy Grossman remarked on “strategic actions” that would improve the company’s performance, which include “expanding our proprietary merchandising pipeline and unique destination programming; elevating our content, digital and data capabilities; extending our distributed commerce platforms including experiential retail; and the divestiture of businesses for a focused portfolio.”
That Girl! will launch on HSN on January 19, 2017 and Comfortably You will launch on HSN on January 26, 2017.
