As CEO, Hutchison will oversee all of Hybrid's business and will report to the company board.

"As a seasoned leader with a wealth of apparel experience and a proven track record of value creation, we are confident that Bill is the right person to lead the company," said Hybrid's board director and managing director of Altamont Capital Partners, Keoni Schwartz, in a press release. "We believe strongly that his leadership will propel us to new levels and will be transformational for Hybrid's business."

Hutchison most recently served as president of AM Retail Group, where he led the organization's retail division, including brands like Wilson's Leather, G.H. Bass, DKNY, CK Performance, and Karl Lagerfeld Paris, since 2011. During this time, he grew revenues from $100 million to over $500 million in seven years thanks to a focus on acquisitions and incremental growth. He also developed the e-commerce businesses for G.H. Bass, Wilson's Leather, DKNY, Andrew Marc and Karl Lagerfeld Paris.

Prior to his work at AM Retail Group, Hutchison worked in the buying office at Dillard's, where he led the creation of a private-label brand.
