Hydrogen, the Italian luxury sportswear label founded in 2003 by designer Alberto Bresci, expects to close 2016 with a revenue of €12 million, equivalent to a 15% rise. Next year the label will treat itself to a new mono-brand store in Ginza, Tokyo's fashion district.

"The new mono-brand store we are set to open in April 2017 will be our second in the city, after the flagship at luxury department store Omotesando Hills," stated Alberto Bresci. "Next year we will also work to consolidate our position on other European markets, with new distributors in UK, Spain and Scandinavia. Once again we will feature two co-branding initiatives, with Italian labels Jplus, for eyewear, and Duvetica, creating another collection of Hydrogen down-jackets by Duvetica, after the one we introduced this year was sold out in a month.”

The label has also presented the Hydrogen Tennis collection’s new brand ambassador, Italian professional tennis player Fabio Fognini, who will star in the brand's active wear collection's advertising campaigns, and will be wearing a Hydrogen kit from next January. Fognini will join his doubles partner in the historic win at the 2015 Australian Open, Simone Bolelli, who is already part of the Hydrogen tennis team.
