Jewellery retailer Chow Tai Fook plans $2 bln-$3 bln HK IPO

March 30 - Jewellery retailer Chow Tai Fook, controlled by billionaire Cheng Yu-tung, plans to raise $2 billion to $3 billion in a Hong Kong listing in the second half 2011, IFR reported on Wednesday.

The company asked banks to submit proposals on the offering by next week said IFR, a Thomson Reuters publication, citing sources who have seen the proposals.
