Jimmy Choo launches Diwali edit as India exclusive
Jimmy Choo has launched an exclusive capsule collection for the Indian market this Diwali. The luxury accessories brand has launched the golden collection across all of its stores in the country.
“This year, Jimmy Choo celebrates the festival of lights in India by curating an exclusive Diwali edition for the Indian market,” the brand announced in a press release. “Featuring a perfect amalgam of sparkle and glamour, the Diwali edit by Jimmy Choo is perfect for any wardrobe. With the redesigned editions, you are sure to feel festive this season!”
The collection features a glittering interpretation of the brand’s classic ‘Bing 100’ shoes, complete with a jewellery-esque crystal strap and slender heel. The ‘Bon Bon’ evening bag has also been given a Diwali edit with a champagne sandy glitter fabric.
Jimmy Choo has held a number of exclusive launches for the Indian market. In 2021, the brand teamed up with celebrity Rhea Kapoor to launch its ‘Core Collection’ in the country. More recently, the brand launched its ‘Varenne Avenue’ handbag line in India for the first time last month at an exclusive dinner party attended by guests including Shanaya Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor among others, Asian News International reported.
Jimmy Choo retails in India through five stores located across Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, and Bengaluru, according to the brand’s website. The brand opened its first store in India in Mumbai in 2007.
