Joe Browns launched kidswear in deal with N Brown

UK-based e-tailer Joe Browns is linking up with retailer N Brown to launch into the childrenswear sector from next week. Joe Browns founder and MD Simon Brown said that the label is currently one of the top performing brands in both womenswear and menswear for N Brown “and they felt because of this success it would translate really well”.

For spring 2017 there are 38 styles priced from £8 for boys T-shirts to £20 for girls dresses. Altogether there will be 20 boys pieces and 18 for girls, many of which are ‘mini me’ versions of Joe Browns’ adult designs. They will be available for six-to-12-year-olds.

The new launch will be marketed as part of N Brown’s The Kids Division, which it launched in 2013. the unit currently includes brands such as Nike, Animal, Adidas and Converse.

The new Joe Browns styles will be available from February 14 at N Brown’s thekidsdivision.co.uk site as well as through the JD Williams and Fashion World sites.

Late last year Joe Browns reported a 17% rise in turnover and 9% rise in EBITDA for Q1 and gross retail sales up by 10% to over £110m in the prior business year as it got a boost from its products being available via home shopping channel QVC.
