Johnson & Johnson Consumer reshuffles European senior management
Johnson & Johnson Consumer, the health and beauty division of the US pharmaceutical and consumer goods giant, recently appointed Pat Smallcombe as company group chairman EMEA.

Smallcombe, who succeeds Trevor Bond, joined the US conglomerate in 2006 after its acquisition of Pfizer Consumer Health. Smallcombe’s mission is to accelerate Johnson & Johnson Consumer’s growth, and increase the market share of the group’s skincare and cosmetics brands, among them Biafine, Le Petit Marseillais, Neutrogena and Listerine.
Smallcombe was formerly the president of One Johnson & Johnson for South-East Asia, and his promotion follows the appointment of Astrid Ziebart as managing director Johnson & Johnson Consumer France in April 2018. Ziebart has worked for 18 years at Johnson & Johnson, and was previously the commercial director of the FMCG and OTC divisions in Austria and Switzerland.
In the 2018 financial year, Johnson & Johnson recorded a revenue of $81.5 billion (€71.2 billion), equivalent to a 6.7% rise. Johnson & Johnson Consumer generated sales for $13.8 billion, up 1.3%.
