Kit and Ace is expanding in North America and worldwide, projecting to open over ten retail locations in North America by mid-October and 50 shops worldwide by the end of 2015.

The luxury "athleisure" brand has dates set for store openings across the United States, in Toronto, and a second standalone store in the brand’s home city of Vancouver.

"We are excited to bring into these new markets a beautiful retail space in which customers can access our clothing, but also come away with a deeper sense of our brand. What we offer is far more than apparel – it’s an evolved retail experience," says co-founder JJ Wilson.

Kit and Ace stores are designed with local elements inspired by the location they are in. The brand currently has seven stores: five in Canada and two in the U.S.

Former lead designer at Lululemon, Shannon Wilson and her son JJ launched Kit and Ace with a first location in Vancouver. The wife and son of Lululemon founder Chip Wilson offer a line of street wear they say can perform like athletic wear. Together they created a technical fabric called Qemir, used to produce luxury cashmere blended garments that are machine washable.
