‘Made in USA’ menswear brand Krammer & Stoudt is launching a made-to-measure program with Brooklyn-based tailor Martin Greenfield and Newark, NJ-based shirt maker Mitch Gambert.

Beginning on June 1, Krammer & Stoudt will accept private appointments with clients for measurements and the fitting process, as well as to select the fabric, style and fit of the garments. The suits will take approximately five weeks to finish and will retail between $1,600 and $2,400, and the shirts will take approximately two weeks to finish and will retail $250.

“When we made the decision to launch our Made-to-Measure program, it was important to us to keep the cut and sew operations in the United States.  We’re lucky to have some of the best tailors in the world, right here in our backyard, that are able to help us fulfill our vision to create the highest quality, domestically made custom shirts and suits,” said Krammer & Stoudt designer Michael Rubin.

Launched in 2012 by Southern California-native Rubin and Courtenay Nearburg, Krammer & Stoudt prides itself on being the first wholly Made-in-US luxury menswear brand, producing its garments in New York City’s Garment District. Partnering with Martin Greenfield and Mitch Gambert on the made-to-measure program seemed natural for the brand for their shared dedication to New York City production.

Martin Greenfield is one of the prides of American men’s fashion and New York City fashion. The 88-year-old has been a tailor for several US Presidents, political figures, athletes, celebrities and clothing brands such as DKNY, Rag & Bone, and Brooks Brothers. Shirt maker Mitch Gambert currently serves as the Director of Business Development at Mel Gambert Shirts, carrying on the legacy of his parents. Mitch also produces made-to-measure shirting for Billy Reid.

Krammer & Stoudt will also host special events with retail partners in New York City to allow clients to schedule first measurements and review fabrics.
