For the first time since its launch in 2009, Lauren Conrad’s namesake line for Kohl’s will add plus sizes to its lineup. Conrad will debut its plus-size line at the brand’s New York Fashion Week presentation.

Conrad launched LC Lauren Conrad at Kohl’s in 2009 and earlier this year expanded the line to include both maternity wear and swimwear. The brand’s new plus-size offerings will include clothes in sizes 0X to 3X, with prices ranging from $12 to $154.

To promote the new sizes, Conrad tapped blogger Loey Lane to model in the brand’s look book. The collection will make its runway debut on September 6 during New York Fashion Week and is expected to include holiday-appropriate clothing in metallic tones and velvet fabric.

Conrad added maternity wear following her own pregnancy this year and says she has always wanted to expand the line to plus sizes as well. The former MTV reality star says she wanted to take risks in the design of the new collection.

More and more fashion brands have added plus sizes to their lineup in recent months. Forever 21 recently launched a plus-size denim line, while designer Tanya Taylor created a plus-size collection for the first time earlier this year. Many plus-size models and bloggers have also expanded their influence in the fashion industry, with models Ashley Graham and Jordyn Woods collaborating with major brands like Addition Elle. Bloggers Gabi Gregg and Nicolette Mason created their own plus-size brand Premme in July of this year.
