American heritage denim brand Lee is bringing its workwear credentials up to date with a new series of contemporary partnerships to project its SS23 line-up. The latest journey begins in London before extending its reach through key cities across Europe in FW23 “highlighting purposeful built-to-last clothing”.

It debuts with ‘Workwear is our soul – London’ and puts the focus on a series of contemporary creators who, through their work, “underline the diversity of talent in the nation’s capital while proving Lee is as relevant to workwear in 2023 as it was in 1889”.

The association kicks off with West London dream-pop musician Unflirt and ceramic artist and sculptor Ronaldo Wiltshire.

Unflirt has notched up over four million streams for her shoegazy brand of dreampop and has attracted a growing community of fans, with the artist recently releasing her latest four-track EP ‘Bitter Sweet’.

Joining Unflirt is ceramic artist Ronaldo Wiltshire. The son of two potters, Wiltshire is an “in-demand” artist going under the moniker ‘Motions Of Clay’. He also finds time to tutor Ceramics students at Kensington and Chelsea College.

In April, Lee also introduced a collaboration with the animated TV series Dragon Ball Z to launch a curated capsule collection across Europe and the US. The collection pays homage to 90's and Y2K culture by taking a nostalgic look back at style from the early days of Dragon Ball Z.
