"The collaboration is an incredibly exciting opportunity for Liberty to support the industry and the launch of Men’s Fashion Week. The extension of New York Men’s Day brands onto our trade show floor will give them three additional days of exposure across the two weeks of events as well as bring our retailers and press a taste of what they may have missed during the week prior," said Sharifa Murdock, partner at Liberty Fairs

New York Men’s Day, which was launched by Agentry PR founder Erin Hawker in 2014, has kicked off the New York Fashion Week calendar for consecutive seasons. At NYMD, designers present their collections during a two-hour period in the morning and an additional group of designers show in the evening. This season, the 12 designers will show in two groups of 6. Cadillac will continue to sponsor the growing bi-annual event.

Hawker told Fashionista this year, "We essentially work with a lot of emerging men's talent and young designers who really need support. A lot of them don’t have huge resources behind them so we thought why not make it really easy for the editors and buyers as well, and kind of give back to the design community."

Hawker founded Agentry PR in 2010 with offices in New York City and Los Angeles.
