Loewe opens its first store in the US

Loewe has chosen Miami for its first store on American soil. The Spanish label, owned by LVMH, has chosen a location in the Design District of the Sunshine State's hippest city.
This third store opened since the arrival of Jonathan Anderson as its artistic director could be mistaken for a museum. Indeed, the interior features an 18th century Galician horreo (raised granary) that measures 36 feet long. It comes from a village at the border of Galicia and Portugal.
Jonathan Anderson explains that he wanted the label to share a fragment of Spain's history in a modern way.
Since September 2013 and the arrival of the British designer as artistic director, Loewe has opened flagships in Milan and Tokyo.
