Since its debut in France last October, Look’n’Be already has 50,000 members. In only a few months, this “style network” has seen a great success and its founders Stéphane and Olga Castellani are keen to take it further. They have just launched four other versions of the website, now also available in English, Italian and Spanish, with Russian soon to come. Aside from these being key languages, the choice of countries is not surprising as it is where social networks are particularly popular.

Look'n'Be

In fact, according to an online survey carried out in September by GMI for Mediacom Science, the average number of social networking websites visited in France per person is 1.9, while in Spain it is 2.2. As for number of friends in their social networks, people in Italy have an average of 87, in England 77, Spain 69 and France 53. Stéphane Castellani commented that "The Italian website has seen a strong takeoff. We are expecting a big craze… The Italian community quickly got caught up in the game”.

The styling advices given on the network are those of the members themselves. It allows each person, even inexperienced fashionistas, to give their opinion and help create the "perfect look". Among some of the questions asked by members, one can find: “Where can I buy this? Which one should I choose? Should I buy it? Which colour? Does it look nice on me? Do you like what I’m wearing today?" And the answers keep flowing. You can simply click on Yes or No, or choose to also leave a comment.

Since the month of March, the website has also added a section dedicated exclusively to fashion professionals, who can use their knowledge and expertise to give users styling advices.
