New York's Nassau County Museum of Art is showcasing the 'outfit' of Italian skincare line Lucia Magnani Skincare, the result of 20 years of research into anti-ageing products. The line's packaging, created by designer Marc Rosen, was in fact selected for the 'Glamour Icons' retrospective exhibition, celebrating until 5th November the US designer's 40-year career, by featuring his work for perfumes and cosmetics products as an art form.

Other works by Rosen are part of the permanent collections at New York's MoMA and at Paris' Fashion Museum. "Beauty comes from a well-balanced lifestyle and a positive approach to life," said Lucia Magnani of the Long Life Clinic in Castrocaro Terme, a renowned spa resort in Italy. The professional collaboration between Magnani and Rosen has inspired the bottles and jars for Lucia Magnani's 'rejuvenating' skincare products.

"I chose to combine an oval shape, at once contemporary, feminine and ergonomic, with a tortoiseshell cap, as an expression of longevity and a symbol of Italian style," explained Rosen.
