The recently opened technology-led Lush flagship store in Shinjuku, Tokyo has opened the doors of the brand’s newest Lush Spa.

Located on the fourth floor of Lush’s largest Asian location, the spa is described by the brand as “a complete re-imagination of Lush Spa as the world currently knows it”.

Lush opened the massive four-storey flagship store in Shinjuku earlier this year, unveiling three floors filled with exclusive products, interactive experiences, dynamic design and innovative technology.

The Lush Spa on the fourth floor continues the experiential push with three treatment rooms, four experience areas and a selection of ten spa treatments. Customers can also book three different “spa experiences”, including the new Shinjuku exclusive experience, Tangled Hair.

Like other Lush Spas located across the world, the space is designed to provide mood-changing treatments through various sensory inputs. Fourth floor visitors are posed the question ‘How would you like to feel today?’ before being taken on a journey through alignment in wellbeing, with digital projections and visual ASMR offering an emotional step-down into relaxation.

Customers can also browse the array of treatments by mood using an interactive treatment menu designed and powered in-house.

“It is our hope that customers feel curious to explore their wellbeing and liberate themselves from the physical, and the standard expectations of spa, to transcend boundaries in both relaxation and digital innovation,” explained Lex Brookman, Lush Digital Producer.

The shop is located in a popular area of Tokyo, and close to Shinjuku Station, the busiest station in the world.
