Luxottica bringing Sunglass Hut to France's Galeries Lafayette

The Luxottica group and the Galeries Lafayette have signed an agreement to roll out the Sunglass Hut, founded in Miami and owned by the Italian group since 2001, retail concept in 57 Galeries Lafayette and BHV Marais department stores across France.
 

The first locations will open in February 2016 and the full roll-out is expected to be completed by the end of 2016, Luxottica said in its official press release.
 
Most importantly, according to the agreement the Sunglass Hut chain will now be the exclusive operator in the sunglasses sector for the French department stores!

Created in 1971, Sunglass Hut quickly became a huge success in the United States and currently has more than 3,000 stores around the world.
