Luxury Closet launches in UK as a stepping stone into Europe
Online retailer The Luxury Closet launched in the UK on Tuesday, joining an ever-expanding resale marketplace for luxury and designer pre-owned fashion.
The UK arrival is part of the company’s ongoing expansion plans that will see it launch further markets within Europe later in the year, it said.
Claiming a 15 million audience worldwide, the business says it is “known for its exceptional white glove concierge service, its highly-desirable pre-owned designer inventory, exceptional customer experience and its rigorous authentication process”.
The expertise of the in-house authentication team runs across multiple categories, from fine jewellery to watches, to premium handbags and footwear.
A “high-touch” customer service along with a rigorous authentication process “ensures The Luxury Closet can offer buyers a vast inventory of the most desirable authentic pre-owned pieces from the world’s top brands such as Hermès, Rolex, Cartier, Gucci and Dior", it said.
Also “unique” to it, the marketplace “carefully tracks trending pieces week by week, offering sellers an instant cash payout for the most popular pieces, and ensuring buyers are able to pick up the hottest styles at accessible prices”.
Founded in Dubai a decade ago “with a desire to inspire more people to participate in the circular fashion movement”, the Luxury Closet says it became the largest luxury resale marketplace in the Middle East, while growing its global clientele across the Americas, APAC and now Europe.
