Largely export-oriented, Maison Lejaby is restructuring its international organization. The lingerie brand acquired in 2012 by Alain Prost is now moving forward with operations abroad.

Having quickly developed a distribution network in Europe, Russia and the Middle East, the brand tested the U.S. Market with its line Elixir for bigger cup-sizes.

The experiment seems to have yielded positive results as Maison Lejaby is once more opening a U.S. subsidiary. According to WWD, the Lyon-headquartered brand will set up U.S. operations in Brooklyn with Ivana Nonnis in the driver’s seat.

Lejaby’s new North American manager previously held the same post for the Dutch lingerie brand Marlies Dekkers, and before that headed La Perla’s North American subsidiary from 2006 to 2008, just before the current CEO of Lejaby was named the head of the Italian house.

Nonnis will be tasked with boosting the performance of Maison Lejaby’s three lines (primary, couture and larger sizes) in North America.
