After almost 30 years of creating clothing for women, Maison Marie Saint Pierre is making its first foray into men’s fashion. The Canadian luxury brand, headed by Marie Saint Pierre, has launched its first capsule collection for men.

The collection consists of about 20 pieces ranging from pants, Bermuda shorts, to fitted coats, cardigans and more. It uses the same materials and distinctive construction techniques of Marie Saint Pierre’s trademark style, but the cuts and measurements, have been reworked for the masculine form. The collection equally boosts the brand’s signature colors including jet black, frosty white, misty gray and casual heather gray.

The Montreal-based designer decided to create a collection specifically for men now that men are adopting a more androgynous look.

"To me, this is a boundary-free collection, a gender-neutral clothing line,” says Marie Saint Pierre, in a news statement. “I would not be surprised to see my female customers adopt them, too!”

Marie Saint Pierre says the collection was not designed for one particular “Marie Saint Pierre man”. Instead, she says those who join the movement will define the profile.

The collection is now available in store and on special order.

Maison Marie Saint Pierre first launched over 25 years ago. It is headquartered in Montreal, Quebec.
